TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS : This Laguiole folding knife is hand crafted according to strict specifications : 440 stainless steel blade : this steel, also called "surgery steel", is perfect for a folding knife. It features a high percentage of carbon (for a sharp cutting edge) and chrome (to prevent it from rusting). It is commonly used among all european cutlers. Corkscrew : 3 spiral corksrew made of stainless steel. True horn handle with two forged stainless steel bolsters : the 2 bolsters guarantee the strenght of the handle. These are forged. The buffalo horn is naturally black. Depending upon the horn, it can feature some brown or white stripes. It also features an incrustation of the christian cross.
